Dr. Robert S. Houser of Cosmetic & Plastic Surgery of Columbus, Ohio Inc, is a Diplomat of the American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS Board Certified Plastic Surgeon) and a Member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. Dr. Houser is proud to be a Member of The American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. Only about one-third of ABPS Board Certified plastic surgeons are elected to this prestigious organization.
Before and After photos are available to be viewed and discussed during office consultations with Dr. Houser. Out of concern for patient privacy, Dr. Houser does not publish patient photos on the internet. Dr. Houser would be happy to show you before & after photos, in the security of our office.
Dr. Houser provides cosmetic surgery procedures in our private in-office surgical facility, which is fully accredited by the American Association for Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgery Facilities (AAAASF). AAAASF accreditation is only awarded to surgical facilities which maintain the highest level of patient care, safety, cleanliness and emergency response procedures. The facility, which is located in Westerville Ohio, is physically connected to Mt. Carmel / St Ann’s Hospital where Dr. Houser has full operating privileges.

Procedures in our office are performed with twilight sedation and local anesthesia. Regional anesthesia (epidural catheters or spinal anesthesia) is performed as needed by an anesthesiologist or a qualified nurse anesthetist.
Most of our cosmetic procedures are performed in our facility which keeps your experience private and in the company of our staff with whom you will have already become accustomed.
Please note: Many non-plastic surgeons provide procedures such as liposuction and even facial and breast surgery in their offices. This does not provide the patient with the same level of safety as having procedures provided in an AAAASF Accredited Surgical Facility by a board certified plastic surgeon.
